STAr Technologies “A STAr is Born” Program Continues to Illuminate Hope for Students in Miaoli

Since the launch of the “A STAr is Born” in the 2022 academic year, STAr Technologies has now entered its fourth year, continuing to encourage elementary school students in Miaoli County to pursue academic excellence and personal growth through scholarship support and grants.

The 2025 Academic Year Scholarship Award Ceremony was warmly held at the Grand Royal Hotel in Toufen City on January 16, 2026. Miaoli County Mayor’s wife, Ms. Chen Mei-Chi, Director of Education Ministry Ms. Shin-Hui Yean, and STAR Technologies Chairman, Mr. Yu-Ming Chien, attended in person to witness this ongoing charitable initiative that brings hope to students. 

Through sustained and long-term investment in educational resources, STAr Technologies aims to ease students’ learning burdens and empower every child to pursue their dreams with confidence.

During the ceremony, Mr. Yu-Ming Chien, Chairman of STAr Technologies, engaged directly with students to learn about their academic progress and encouraged them to maintain curiosity and a passion for learning. Emphasizing that education has the power to change lives, Mr. Yu-Ming Chien stated:

“We firmly believe that every child has unlimited potential, and with the right resources and encouragement, they can grow into pillars of society who will support the future.”

Through the annual award ceremonies, students can more clearly experience the encouragement and warmth brought by the program, while the broader community witnesses the tangible results of collaboration between industry and local institutions in fostering a positive cycle of educational development. 

Looking ahead, STAr Technologies will continue to advance the “A STAr is Born” program and remain committed to creating greater opportunities for children to learn with peace of mind, explore with courage and grow strong.
